New benefit for Paid Subscribers

A slight hiccup with registrations and updated offering for Free vs Paid subscriptions

Hello everyone! Hope you are doing well and getting a bit nicer weather.

New registrations

In the last few weeks, I’ve been making updates to the platform to move Free registrations directly to the website. Quite a few of you signed up using the new process on UX Remotely.

Then, due to the limitations of the platform, I had to scale it back and remove Free registrations on the website. Everyone, who signed up directly, has been added to the substack newsletter as a Free subscriber, so you will be receiving weekly digests and new job emails, as expected.

Going forward, registration on the website will be only for Paid subscribers. Free subscribers will be signing up on Substack, as before. So, nothing changed for you, just my wasted time and effort =)

Free vs Paid

Increased delay

I am increasing the new jobs email delay from 3 days to 5 days. So, if you are on a Free subscription, you will get a copy of the email notification 5 days later than the Paid subscribers.

Portfolio/Resume review

I am adding a new benefit for Paid subscribers. Once a month I will review your portfolio or resume sharing my thoughts and providing suggestions on how to improve it.
